A massive hit within the 2014 season, young baritone Alexander Knight joins the series this year with perhaps the greatest cycle of songs ever composed.

Schumann's "Dichterliebe" ("the poet's love") is a masterpiece of song-writing.  Encompassing virtually every human emotion and outlook, the songs also resound with occasional wit, sarcasm and bravura.  This is a 19th Century work which remains beloved of audiences due to its timeless thoughts and themes.
