Resonance presents its third concert programme for 2014, this time featuring the piano music of Frédéric Chopin. This undisputed master of piano literature changed not only the world of his own instrument, but heralded a new era in harmony and musical expression. This concert will feature short narrated insights into the life of Chopin, as well as performances of some of his best-loved works, including the Fantasie-Impromptu, First Ballade and Scherzo in C# minor. Join pianist Chris Cartner for this intriguing and exhilarating one-hour programme, celebrating one of the greatest heroes of the piano.
