John Noble's Quartet Program© was founded in 2008. John commenced with two String Quartets with the support of local municipalities and philanthropists (ongoing) in metropolitan Melbourne.

Combining String Quartet tuition, one on one sessions & professional ensemble mentorship, JNQP offers exciting opportunities for young String Players.  Quartet rehearsals are delivered live or remotely using on-line facilities such as Skype & Apple Face time.

In 2011, John approached Orchestra Victoria with the exciting proposal to run his successful and inspirational String Quartet Training Program under the umbrella, and alongside O.V.'s groundbreaking “mOVe" program (to which John is a Foundation Tutor). Two Student Quartets in Wyndham Vale & Bendigo were launched immediately, and in 2012, John expanded his program by establishing a String Quartet Program in Hamilton in Victoria’s Southern Grampians.

A 2nd generation String Quartet in Sunshine was launched in January 2014, and further Quartets in Bendigo and Shepparton commenced in 2016. John Noble is looking to further expand his program nationally and internationally throughout 2018.

John Noble's Quartet Program© has been featured in the Australian String Teachers industry magazine - Austa, and the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance magazine - Senza Sord.

John’s program has made a huge difference to the lives of these talented young musicians. The ongoing monthly contact maintains their excitement and passion for ensemble playing. The inspiration and mentoring they receive is unique and unparalleled in Australia. Performance opportunities and mentoring activities challenge and stimulate them to performance excellence. JNQP students have performed at Lady Marigold Southey’s house - Cranlana, Orchestra Victoria regional festivals, Orchestra Victoria mOVe functions and even joined Orchestra Victoria on stage in Bendigo for a live performance. A highlight in 2016, was witnessing all of his String Quartet students performing as a String Orchestra at The Capital Theatre in Bendigo, proudly supported by The Capital Theatre, Orchestra Victoria and the City of Greater Bendigo. Opportunities like these ensure our young musicians continue along their Professional pathway and develop as inspiring and exciting chamber musicians.
