Sydney-based Soprano, Katherine Allen, graduated from Sydney Girls High School in 2015 and performed at the Sydney Opera House in the HSC Music Showcase, Encore, for outstanding performances in her Music 2 and Music Extension examinations.

 

She is currently studying a Bachelor of Music (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of Dr. Rowena Cowley.

 

Katherine was an Associate Young Artist with Pacific Opera in 2017 and has continued her position in 2018. Last year she performed at various venues and events with Pacific Opera, including in the Utzon Room, and at the Concourse in Chatswood with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra.

 

In July 2016, Katherine won the Sydney Eisteddfod Vocal Scholarship and Operatic Aria 17-20 Years. This followed similar results in 2015, which included First Place in the 17-20 Years Operatic Aria and Art Song.
