Lucy Warren first picked up a violin at the age of five and for many years she enjoyed the Suzuki philosophy. She commenced study with Michele Walsh at the age of thirteen and subsequently studied at the Queensland Conservatorium before undertaking an Honours year as a Vice Chancellor's Scholar with Jun Yi Ma at the University of Tasmania.

​Lucy was a scholarship holder at the Australian National Academy of Music from 2009 – 2011 where she studied with Paul Wright and William Hennessy. She has travelled all over Australia, Asia and Europe with various chamber groups and orchestras including the Sydney Symphony and Australian Youth Orchestra. She has performed regularly with Sydney Symphony, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria and Sydney Camerata as well as appearing as a Guest Principal with the Darwin Symphony Orchestra. Lucy was an Ironwood Developing Artist in 2011 and she was awarded the Sydney Symphony Fellowship in 2012.

She has been fortunate to play alongside the likes of Pekka Kuusisto, Anthony Marwood and Michael Collins and has performed in masterclasses with Julian Rachlin, Benjamin Schmid, the Jerusalem Quartet, the Elias Quartet and the Brentano Quartet. Lucy is a passionate chamber musician and is a member of the Strelitzia Ensemble.
