
Nicole Thomson
Soprano
Nicole Thomson has had a professional singing career for over 15 years. She has shared the stage with many illustrious personalities, including Russell Crowe, David Hobson, Jessica Mauboy, Dan Sultan, Slava and Leonard Grigoryan, the late June Bronhill, James Morrison and Marcello Maio. She has also shared a lift with David Hasslehoff….not so relevant, perhaps.
Nicole has been involved in many recordings for films and video games, including “South Solitary (starring Miranda Otto and Barry Otto)”; “Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole”; “World Of Warcraft – Starcraft”; “Happy Feet 2”; and is also found on many albums released through ‘The Song Company’ and ‘ABC Classic’ labels.
Nicole is a gifted educator, travelling as a music specialist for Musica Viva NSW, and Big Scope, helping provide training and implementation to music teachers throughout the country. Nicole is currently preparing a teaching program for workshops and tuition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In 2013, Nicole commences her appointment as Senior Lecturer In Voice at Central Queensland Conservatorium Of Music.
