Sarah Greenspan, soprano, recently made her Berlin debut as Giulietta in
Passaggio Oper’s Les Contes D’Hoffmann.

 

She received critical acclaim for her debut role of Leonora in Fidelio with The InSeries in her home town of Washington DC.

 

She has performed all over the US, including her New York City premieres of Carmen (Carmen) and Charlotte (Werther) with IconoClassic Opera.


Ms. Greenspan had the honor of being hand picked by Maestro Lorin Maazel to cover the role of Minnie (La fanciulla del west) at his renowned Castleton Festival.


She has performed the roles of Desiree (A little night music), Dido (Dido and Aeneas), Lucienne (Die tote Stadt), Witch and Mother (Hansel and Gretel),
Clara (Signor Deluso), Second Lady (Magic Flute), Countess Ceprano (Rigoletto),
and Mother (The Women).

 

Ms. Greenspan debuted and originated the roles of Constanza in Mozart and
the Grey Steward, Jezebel in Name on the door, Widow Mae in War Widows, and
Fry in Be Mine.

 

In 2009 she received critical acclaim for the role of Claire in the world premiere of Magnum Opus.

Ms. Greenspan has performed at the prestigious Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Sarasota Opera, Summer Opera Theater, Fairbanks summer festival, Opera theater of Northern Virginia.

 

She received her Masters of Music in vocal performance from Catholic University of America and she is a student of voice teacher Bill Schuman.
