Application / Audition Information
Resonance has been producing quality chamber music concerts in Sydney since March 2013, and in Melbourne since June 2016.
In February 2018 we will launch our season of concerts in NSW with a dedicated performance given by talented students,
passionate in their pursuit of music.
We are now encouraging young musicians to make an
application to perform in this exciting concert.
Prizes up to the value of $1000 are available to successful applicants.
Applications

Age limit: we would like to invite musicians aged between 16 and 21 years old (as of February 1st, 2018)

Applicants are requested to suggest pieces of music between 5 and 20 minutes in duration.

Singers or acoustic instrumentalists of any nature are welcome to apply.

Applicants may apply as an ensemble. eg. A violin/piano ensemble is eligible as one application.

Applications should include a brief description (50-100 words) of the music to be performed. This could be a musical description of the piece/s, information about the composer, reasons why it was chosen etc.

All applications to be received by 12pm (AEST) Monday 20th November.
Auditions

Auditions are expected to take place on Monday 27th November and/or Wednesday 29th November in the North Sydney area. Times TBC.

Successful applicants will be informed by Monday 4th December.

Feedback on auditions will be given to all applicants.
